Meet Our Vendor: Crescent Moon Designs
Say hello to new vendor, Crescent Moon Designs. We are so happy to have her at our winter show!
Who are you and what do you do?
My name is Heather Lewis and I own the Seattle-based business Crescent Moon Designs. I have a
passion for designing and creating jewelry. I love it when I find interesting, one of a kind gemstones that
I can use to create unique jewelry that someone connects with.
What’s the latest thing you’ve been working on?
Currently, I’m working on gold earrings that remind me of a cluster of long, slender pine needles
cascading down towards the forest floor. I’m also excited to be vending at Urban Craft Uprising and I’m
making sure I have some of my favorite pieces to showcase.
What do you love most about craft show vending?
I love getting to know the people who come to the shows and the creative vendors who are passionate
about their businesses. I also love it when someone finds something in my jewelry collection that they
can’t wait to wear.
How did you get started in your business?
I started my business as a creative outlet after my daughter was born and now it’s my full-time job. I
started selling my jewelry at the Ballard Sunday Market, in Seattle and local boutiques.
What’s the best experience you’ve ever had with one of your customers?
I feel every season I have one or two experiences with my customers I cherish, and it usually involves
brides-to- be. This season, I worked with several brides to create jewelry for their big day. I always feel
honored and delighted when I get to be part of such a special and joyous occasion.
