Meet Our Vendor: Careful It Bites
We are so excited to have Careful It Bites back to our winter show. We love her fun furry creations and you will too.
Who are you and what do you do?
Hiya! I’m Kelice of Careful It Bites. I make plush creatures of the cute n creepy variety here in Seattle.
Any new exciting news you’d like to share with our readers?
6 months ago I started renting a studio in The Old Rainier Brewery and it has been amazing having a dedicated space that is separate from my home. I will have a few open studio events throughout the next year for people who want to come in and see my space and make custom orders.
What was your first memory of making something?
There were a LOT of puff balls and pipe cleaners in my early creative endeavors and I have the hot glue gun burns to prove it.
What is your favorite new product for 2017?
A variation of my classic severed yeti heads – which will make their debut at the UCU winter show. I will give you a hint – no depth perception but lots of personality 😉
What’s your favorite item that you sell?
I think my favorite is still my little dust bunny – there is just something about their little buck teeth and eyes that stare into the distant future that amuses me greatly.
