Meet Our Sponsor: Two Birds Tattoo
Two Birds Tattoo is a studio started by Ruby Santiago and Suzy Todd in 2010, we now have six female tattoo artists and an apprentice in her second year! Our artists cover a wide range of styles with an emphasis on custom designs. Our passion is to do tattoos that are well planned and will continue look amazing over your lifetime.
Suzy Todd specializes in realism and has won Best Pin Up Tattoo at the Seattle Tattoo Expo for 3 years running! Ruby Santiago specializes in realism, creating texture and her pet portraits will melt your heart. Suzy and Ruby both donate %20 of their fee when you get a pet portrait to a local animal shelter! Alexis Witt specializes in meticulous line work, as well as black and grey tattoos. Tarah Pennington specializes in vibrant water color tattoos as well as black and grey. Annelisa Ochoa specializes in scientific illustration as well as trash polka and geometric tattoos. Robyn Emlen specializes in new school, organic biochemical and generally weird tattoos. Our apprentice Chelsea Youngblood loves to tattoo cartoons and anything that makes her laugh.
We also provide an arena for well curated art, jewelry and accessories in our gallery space dedicated to local artists. Many of the tattoo artists her are crafters and makers as well! Every month we feature a new local artist in the gallery space and we participate in the Greenwood Art Walk every month. Just this past May we held a silent action at the Big Phinneywood Art Walk with donated art from all of our tattoo artist, gift certificates and merchandise donated from over twenty local business. All proceeds went to Old Dog Haven and Seattle Animal Shelter. We raised about $2500 for the two shelters and we love giving back to our community whenever we can!
The 2015 Seattle Tattoo Expo will be on August 14th, 15th and 16th at the Fisher Pavilion in the Seattle Center. Two Birds Tattoo will be participating for our 5th time this year and we would love to meet you! Come check out our booth and participating artists.
